Jeremy MiddlemissJeremy Middlemiss

The son of two ski instructors, Jeremy began skiing at the age of 5. For the past 14 seasons, he has fit boots at The Sport Loft. Jeremy has studied bio mechanics and orthotics in Voiron France and continually updates his training. He has expanded bio mechanical alignment and orthotic services to include hiking, running, biking and adventure sports.


Earl MiddlemissEarl Middlemiss

A skier since the age of 6, Earl taught skiing for Alta's Alf Engen Ski School from 1967 through 1978. He remembers skiing Snowbird before it was Snowbird, at times when he tired of crossing his own tracks at Alta. Earl's boot fitting expertise has made countless feet happier throughout his more than 41 years in the business; his personal touch and superb sense of customer service set Earl apart.


Linday MiddlemissLindsey Middlemiss

Jeremy's wife Lindsey is new CFO, managing the books and has kept our clothing lines fresh and new for many years. Lindsey also handles our advertising and newsletters.

Lindsey's other full time job is raising her two sons.


Derek SalmonnsonDerek Salomonson

Derek is a Boise native who simply loves skiing.

His love for skiing led him to move from Idaho to Utah, in order to experience "The Greatest Snow on Earth."

When not skiing, Derek enjoys rafting and all things outdoors.


Bonnie HoffmanBonnie Hoffman

Bonnie has been hooked on skiing since age 5!

She's always been passionate about helping people enjoy life, spending thirty years pursuing that goal. She realized The Sport Loft is a natural fit after experiencing Earl and Jeremy's personal service. In off hours, Bonnie enjoys spending time with husband Bob and her 2 Labs, making jewelry and practicing photography.


Stephen CriminStephen Crimin

Stephen discovered his love for skiing at age two, when he learned to ski in the mountains of Southern Utah.

More recently, he has taught skiing at Sundance and Eagle Point Resorts. Stephen is new to the central Wasatch and looks forward to experiencing the world class skiing. In the off season you will find him rock climbing and mountain biking.

Doug BatemanDoug Bateman

Doug, an Idaho native and father of three beautiful daughters, is by profession an aerospace engineer who has worked and traveled the country, but has been back here for the past 13 years.

A lover of all things outdoors, Doug has skied since grade school and pursues his passions: cycling, running, swimming, hiking and skiing the slopes of Utah.


Chris MiddlemissChris Middlemiss

Introduced to skiing at age 13, Chris really fell in love with skiing in the form of a red ski-sweatered young ski instructor named Earl.

She taught skiing at Alta from 1969 to 1976. Her favorite Alta memory is of skiing with Alf Engen and thinking, "This guy skis like a freight train!"




Lady is in attendance most days, except Saturdays.
